September 17, 1972 to February 28, 1983.  A TV series, adapted from a movie, based on a novel.  The show followed the lives of doctors and support staff in South Korea during the Korean War.  The series ended after 11 seasons with a 2 1/2 finale viewed by an estimated 121.6 million people, the largest audience ever for a single TV program.  Here's a few of the highlights of those 11 seasons at the 4077th.
