Scammers Targeting SWLA Entergy Customers

Entergy of Louisiana is warning their customers to be advised of a scam that criminals are attempting right here in SWLA.

Their customers are being told via phone that their utility bill is due immediately and if not paid their power will be shut off in 30 minutes.

Entergy is asking you to report this activity and not to give these criminals any personal information over the phone.  If you receive a call asking for credit card payment, hang up and call Entergy’s customer service line at 1 (800) 368-3749.
