The New Orleans Saints worked out a few veteran running backs on Thursday, in hopes of possibly adding some depth to the position.


The 30-year old Whittaker, who spent the last five years with the Carolina Panthers, missed all of 2018, after suffering a torn ACL.

In parts of 6 seasons, Whittaker has rushed for 615 yards and 2 touchdowns, while compiling 68 catches for 552 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The 26-year old Kelley spent the last three seasons with the Washington Redskins, rushing for 606 yards and 9 touchdowns, to go along with 16 receptions for 100 yards and a score.

2016 was Kelley's best year, when he rushed for 704 yards and 6 touchdowns.

The 27-year old Allen spent the last 4 years with the Baltimore Ravens, rushing for 1,249 yards and 8 touchdowns, while compiling 129 catches for 849 yards and 6 touchdowns.
