Saints fans, it has already started. After the NFL canceled all of the 2020 preseason games, now owners are stepping in and deciding not to have fans at certain games.

This is true for the new Las Vegas Raiders organization who have decided the game between the New Orleans Saints and the Raiders scheduled in Las Vegas in week two of the season will be played, but no fans will be allowed in attendance.

In fact, Mark Davis with the Raiders franchise said no fans will be allowed at any of the home games for the Raiders in 2020. I am sure it was a tough decision for the organization because they have a brand new stadium called Allegiant Stadium that was just completed and made ready for the 2020 season.

Davis took to social media and made the statement after he sent a letter to season ticket holders about the decision. In short, he told fans and season ticket holders they made the difficult decision to not have fans for the 2020 season in part to keep fans and workers safe during this pandemic.

The game between the Saints and Raiders in Las Vegas is scheduled for Monday night, September 21. Do you think it will be weird the game will be on Monday night Football but with no fans? The energy just won't be the same but hey, you will still have football to watch.

No word yet if the New Orleans Saints franchise will make the same move and restrict fans coming to the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
