Saints Owner Gayle Benson Pays Off 400 Christmas Layaways

More than 400 customers a New Orleans Wal Mart customers got a big Christmas surprise. Saints owner Gayle Benson paid off their layaways. The Advocate reports, Mrs. Benson paid off $100,000 worth of layaways at the Tchoupitoulas St. location.

"They're coming in, and they're calling their friends and family," Williams said. "They're very excited. It's a good thing. It's a good thing for the community. It's a good thing for the store. I'm glad that we can participate and help bless so many people for the holidays."   - Zena Williams
