Just a reminder that we vote again on December 8th!

Wednesday (11/7) was the last chance to register to vote in the upcoming Run-Off election. Louisiana laws require a voter to be registered 30 days prior to an election to be eligible to vote in that particular election.

Locally, the run-off will feature the battle of the Republicans Charles Boustany, R-Lafayette and Jeff Landry, R-New Iberia, for Louisiana's District Three. While Boustany got the bulk of the vote from state voters, Democratic candidate Ron Richard managed to get enough votes to keep either Republican candidate from have an outright victory.

So, it's back to the polls on December 8th, of course that will be preceded by another month of "Yes, you are..."no, I'm not!"
