Rod Stewart has decided to postpone his much awaited 2013 tour. Why? Is he sick? does he have some sort of voice problem?

You'll have to read more to find out.

According to the official press release from the Rod Stewart the reason is business related. Here is the short missive from the Stewart camp:

"To accommodate the finishing pre-production and spring promotion of his first original rock studio album in almost 20 years, Rod Stewart has pushed back his Spring tour with Steve Winwood — which will now begin in October."

All existing tickets will be honored on the new dates. However, those who can not make those dates can get refunds from the point of purchase until Feb. 22.

Glad to hear that since Rod's new work will be a return to his sound back when he recorded "Mandolin Wind." The album will be much more acoustic featuring guitars, mandolins and fiddles.'
