Pro Watercross National Championships Details:

Pro Watercross describes their sport as motocross on the water with jet skis. Their racers can reach speeds in excess of 85-90 mph.

AJ Handler, CEO/Founder of the Pro Watercross National Tour, said in a press release:

The Pro Watercross National Championships event was scheduled to take place the weekend that Hurricane Ida came ashore on the other side of the state in Southeast Louisiana. With a large portion of the competitors being impacted, we decided to cancel for the traveling safety of fans and everyone involved. The team at Pro Watercross sends its deepest sympathies for the difficulties facing Southeast Louisiana. Looking forward to next year, our competing athletes from all over the country are excited to experience Southwest Louisiana’s hospitality, culture, food, music, and the great outdoors.

Eric Zartler, Visit Lake Charles Sales Director, says that SWLA is in for a real treat once these athletes take to the lake and race for the gold.
