According to a recent survey, 40% of individuals "sometimes" and 16% of people "usually" eat the ice when they drink something iced.

When I saw this story I knew I had to write an article on it.  My wife and I were discussing this the other night at home, and I know we can't be the only ones. She landed on Sonic ice being her favorite and had to agree.

With "perfect" ice, Sonic lands at number one. Their ice aren't cubes; rather, they're "nuggets" that can be crunched but are resilient enough to resist melting too rapidly.

Because their ice chills beverages without diluting them, Chick-fil-A comes in second. One Reddit user claims., "I can never throw my [Chick-fil-A] cup out until I've finished eating all of my ice."

The most embarrassing offering of "uneven lumps of frozen water" comes from Taco Bell. In fact, some customers at Taco Bell request no ice due to the "sub-par consistency."
