Popular Louisiana Burger Chain Plans To Close 70 Locations
(Lake Charles, Louisiana) A very popular burger chain is feeling the strain of the US economy and plans to shut down 70 locations. We have the details on what this mean for their locations in Louisiana.
The restaurants will not be closing all at once. The company says that around 10-15 locations will close in 2025 when their leases expire. Then in the rest of the locations will close down in the next five years when their respective leases expire.

Red Robin currently has over 300 restaurants in the USA.
CEO C.J. Hart told USA Today that closing underperforming locations will help the company pay down debt and strengthen the company as a whole:
2025 is off to a good start with the comparable restaurant revenue momentum we had exiting the fourth quarter, continuing through the first eight weeks of the first quarter. With the strategy we have in place, we believe we are well positioned to deliver significant value to our guests and shareholders alike.
What Red Robin locations are closing down in Louisiana?
As of writing this article, Red Robin has not released the locations that are deemed to be "underperforming" and in danger of closing.
However, Louisiana only has one Red Robin location.

Only time will tell if the location in Slidell is on "the list".
This is very sad to see, my family and I love Red Robin. If I remember correctly, I believe we ate at a location in Baton Rouge before, and if a chain restaurant can't make it in Baton Rouge...that's a bad sign for your company.
