If you are champing at the bit to get outdoors and do something fun, we have just the thing for you. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso will be holding his LHSAA Golf Tournament in September in Sulphur.

Here is your chance to get your team together and play a fun round of golf for a good cause. The tournament is put on to raise money for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) programs for female athletes in our state high schools and for recognition programs for Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office (CPSO) Deputies.

The tournament will take place at the Frasch Park Golf Course off of Ruth Street in Sulphur on Friday, September 10.

The course is a challenging one. You will need to navigate your ball through tight fairways and smaller greens while staying out of the water and bunkers.

The CPSO is currently seeking sponsors and/or donations for door prizes. To get involved by sponsoring the tournament, donating prizes, or to get your team registered, call CPSO insurance department at 337-491-3694 or by emailing insurance@cpso.com.

Clean off your clubs, get your lucky golfing hat out, and get ready to play in a super fun tournament for a great cause. We will see you out there.
