There's something fun  about watching video of ordinary things in slo-mo. There are things that, to the naked eye, happen almost instantly,but when shot thru a digital video camera at a high rate of speed, say 120 frames per second, we get a whole new perspective.

Slow motion has been around as long as there have been movies, but the old film cameras would only film at 24 frames per second and even when slowed down by filing at a higher rate, the action still went by very fast.

Today's digital movie cameras can shoot upwards of 120 frames per second and that's where the fun begins.
