
Lake Charles, Louisiana Invites Public Tonight To Swearing-In Of New Mayor And City Council
(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - Southwest Louisiana residents are invited by the City of Lake Charles to attend the swearing-in event tonight for the Lake Charles City Council and mayor-elect Marshall Simien Jr.
Ronnie Harvey, Jr., Donald Fondel, Tommy Bilbo, Matt Young, Stuart Weatherford, Craig Marks, and Matthew Vezinot are among the city council members scheduled to take the oath of office.

Tomorrow, Simien, the mayor-elect, and the seven other members of the Lake Charles City Council will take office.
KPLC reports: According to the Lake Charles Event Center's policy, all bags must be clear and no bigger than 12x12x6 for everyone's safety. The transparency requirement does not apply to small bags that are less than 5 by 7. Information on this policy can be found at their website.
