As if double hurricanes, murder hornets, and a worldwide pandemic weren't bad enough, now we get an asteroid. NASA scientists ran across an asteroid headed toward Earth. It is being called 2018VP1, and it's coming for a visit.

NASA says we can expect our rocky guest, ironically, the day before the presidential election in November. How ironic could that be? The rock is being watched as it heads toward us, but scientists having been watching it to see how probable an impact would be.

According to them, it has a chance of hitting Earth directly by only 1%. Don't freak out. You have a better chance of the ice cream machine working at McDonald's than this thing coming to hit us. On top of that, it's only six-and-a-half feet in diameter. It could do some damage, but we wont be lying down with the dinosaurs because of it.
