One of my favorite pastimes is finding independent or unsigned bands that are amazing, talented artists. Christmas music is in my top three favorite music genres, so I've found my fair share of awesome Christmas tunes most people have never heard of, and I would like to share them with you.

Capital Lights - His Favorite Christmas Story

This song is an epic journey and storytelling at its best. The first time I heard this song, I was so captivated and surprised at the end that I may or may not have shed a tear. Enjoy, and make sure you have a tissue near by.

Five Iron Frenzy - You Gotta Get Up

This song reflects the joy and excitement every child feels Christmas morning, from ripping into presents to trying to wake their parents up to come to the tree and see what Santa left. I love Ska music, and the horns give this song the perfect punch of energy and elation that is Christmas morning.

Relient K - 12 Days Of Christmas

Relient K is one of my most favorite bands of all time, and you can't go wrong with the 12 Days of Christmas. They hilariously ask what a partridge in a pear tree is and say it's a terrible gift. The energy of this song is infectious and will get you moving for sure.

Huntingtons - Its Always Christmas At My House

If you're a fan of '70s and '80s Punk, you're gonna love this song. The Huntingtons deliver another song that perfectly captures the feeling of the excitement that Christmas brings to people all over the world. The chorus is so catchy, you'll be singing along before you know it.
