McNeese Men’s Basketball Team Extends Home Winning Streak

The Cowboys extended their home winning streak last night with a victory over Champion Christian College.

The Pokes are 5-3 overall and 5-0 at home this season.  It looks like their return to the Burton Coliseum has been a good luck charm for the team as they are undefeated at home.

The final score was 94-36 as the Cowboys played their signature fast-paced full-court style of basketball under head coach Heath Schroyer.

The Cowboys return to action tonight at Burton playing Champion Christian College with a 6:30pm tip-off.

Hopefully the Pokes can keep the home winning streak alive as they start Southland Conference play this Saturday at 4:00pm with Central Arkansas coming to Lake Charles.
