The McNeese Cowboys Men's basketball team will be back in Lake Charles for a four-game homestand beginning tonight at the Legacy Center In Lake Charles.

The Cowboys will take on Southland Conference foes Nicholls tonight starting at 7:30 pm.  The team is back in their home inside the newly renovated Legacy Center which we had a chance to check out this week and it looks beautiful.

The big news however is that on Sunday, the Pokes will welcome in New Orleans to Legacy Center for a 5:00 pm tip-off.  This game will be nationally televised on ESPNU. This will be the first time that the McNeese basketball team will be televised on a national television station since 2002.

We spoke with McNeese Men's head basketball coach John Aiken this morning on the air and he is really excited not only to be back in the Legacy Center but for his team to be featured on a national stage on national television.

We along with the McNeese Athletic Department encourage Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana to get behind the Cowboys and pack out the stadium Sunday afternoon to show the country how much Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana support the pokes.

The Cowboys are currently 8-12 on the season but could even themselves up to 12-12 with this four-game homestand is they can sweep all the games at home but they need your support!

We are going to make it easy for you to get your tickets and go to the game.  Click the link below to grab your tickets before there all gone.
