Week 5 McNeese Football Starting Lineup vs Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks

(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - The McNeese Cowboys will begin Southland Conference play this weekend against a familiar foe, the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (SFA).

The Pokes may have a 1-3 record this season, but with conference play starting tomorrow, in all reality the team is 0-0. Conference wins get you into the playoffs, and the Cowboys will have a tall task this Saturday with the Lumberjacks.

SFA was a favorite with many conference coaches and media members to win the league back at the Southland Conference Media Day before the 2025 season kicked off.
