Not rain, not cold, nor wind, nor Mardi Gras can stop the McNeese Baseball team. On a cold Mardi Gras afternoon the Pokes kept their undefeated season rolling with their fourth straight win. The Cowboys will go for number five today.

The Cowboy's pitching staff continued their stellar season holding Louisiana Tech to two runs that were not scored until the last inning.Senior right hand pitcher Steven O'Bryant started the game and pitched four scoreless innings. Then senior Cory Lapeze followed with three scoreless innings of his own. Cameron Tool's bat stayed hot as he went 2-3 with a pair of doubles. So far this year he is hitting .800! The Pokes got their fourth straight win to open the season 4-0 with a 4-2 victory over Louisiana Tech. The two battle again today at 1 p.m. at Cowboy Diamond.
