McNeese women's basketball will enter the 2018-19 season with a fresh face and new help with the guards and commitment to social media and community service.

Wednesday women's head coach Kacie Cryer announced to the media that Katy, Texas native Brittany Biggott, who spent last season as a grad assistant at Wayne State (Masters in Sports Management) to the McNeese staff.

Prior to her post-grad studies Coach Bigott was a four-year letter winner for the University of St Thomas, appearing in 87 career games in addition to being an NAIA Scholar Athlete all four years. As a freshman and sophomore Bigott led the team in 3 pointers percentage wise and was a four-time Academic All-Conference pick and UST's Scholar-Athlete of the year in her first two seasons.

We're excited about this addition to the staff, we welcome her to Lake Charles and look forward to Coach Bigotts contribution to McNeese women's basketball next season.
