Running Back Mark Ingram is coming back to New Orleans.  That's right, the NFL Network broke the story that Ingram who was currently playing for the Houston Texans is returning to the Big Easy.

Details are still sketchy but it seems the running back will return back to the Saints, the very team that drafted him to play for the black and gold in 2011.

Mark Ingram played with the Saints for eight seasons. During his time with New Orleans, he started 63 games and rushed for more than 6,000 yards and 50 touchdowns.

In 2019, Mark Ingram moved on from New Orleans during free agency and signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens. Ingram played for the Ravens for two seasons and then signed with the Houston Texans.

During his time in Houston, Mark Ingram played only seven games. He racked up 92 carries and 294 yards.

Ingram was a big favorite for Saints fans with his hard running and hard-hitting style of running winning their hearts. The Saints have been dealing with a lot of injuries during this season and sometimes their offense looks stagnant.

The move to acquire Ingram by the organization may be a move to help jump-start the offense.  No matter which reason why New Orleans decided to get Ingram back, Saints fans will be ready to welcome him back to Louisiana and the Big Easy.
