Man in Santa Hat Arrested: Theft of Lake Arthur High School Bus

I debated on two different ways to start this article, go with the one you like the best. The wheels on this bus ended up getting a man in handcuffs, or man gets in a Ho-Ho-whole lot of trouble for stealing a bus in Santa hat. The choice is yours.

On April 27, Lake Arthur High School reported the theft of a school bus to the Jefferson Davis Sheriff's Office. The suspect was recorded on video surveillance wearing a blue jacket, Nike shoes, Beats headphones, Air pods, red shirt, khaki pants, and wearing a Santa hat. I personally thought the over abundance of ear entertainment was strange, but then he threw in the Santa hat as a fashion statement.

Later in the day, the bus was located by St. Landry Parish on Crooked Road in Opelousas, where authorities say the fashionista was still wearing his fabulous outfit from the theft of the bus.

Cody Moore, 34, of Jennings was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle by St. Landry sheriffs, then transported to Jeff Davis and booked on charges of burglary, theft, three counts of contempt of court, and theft of a motor vehicle. Guess you could say Moore felt the claws of the law.
