Major Auto Parts Chain Closing 700 Stores—See Which Louisiana Locations Are Affected
(Lake Charles, Louisiana) A well-known auto parts store has stated that it will close 700 shops. We have all the details on what locations in Louisiana are closing down.
The company announced back in November of last year that the company was planning to cutdown the store footprint of the company in what they called an Asset Optimization Program.
By the middle of 2025, Advance Auto Parts plans to eliminate four distribution hubs, 200 independently operated stores, and 500 corporate owned locations.
In a press statement on Wednesday, President and CEO Shane O'Kelly said:
During 2024, we initiated transformative actions to reposition Advance for long-term success and value creation.
The company also stated that it will concentrate on "core retail improvements" in order to enhance business performance in the hopes of achieving "consistent profitable growth."
