Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser Speaks With Visit Lake Charles Today

After most people have been locked down in their house for the past two months, they are champing at the bit to take a trip somewhere. I mean somewhere, anywhere at this point most people in Southwest Louisiana are saying.They just don't want to be at their homes at all.

I have to admit, my wife and I have already booked a mini getaway and can't wait to just get away and relax somewhere other than our house while, of course, practicing social distancing.

Today, Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser will be a guest on Southwest Louisiana's tourist bureau's Facebook page, Visit Lake Charles.

Kyle Edmiston, president and CEO of Visit Lake Charles, will speak with Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser on their Facebook talk show called “Chuck Talks” at 9:30am this morning, May 19, 2020.

They will be talking about the state of the tourism industry in Louisiana. This is a great way to find out what the plans are for opening up different tourist attractions and cities in and around Louisiana.

I am curious on the state of professional and college sports. Will they will be played at all and, if so, will it be with or without fans? Maybe I will chime in with a question today and so can you.
