Once again, the LSU Tigers are the top-ranked team in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll, which was released on Sunday.

It's the second-straight week LSU, who was idle last weekend, is ranked number one in the poll.

The Tigers, who are now 8-0 on the season, return to action on Saturday, when they travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to take on the second-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

Alabama actually received more first-place votes than LSU in the poll, 21-17, but the Tigers were able to just surpass the Crimson Tide in total points (1479-1472).

Ohio St., Clemson, and Penn St. round out the top five.

Georgia, Oregon, Utah, Oklahoma, and Florida are ranked 6-10, respectively.

Navy, who is 7-1 on the season, debuts in the poll this week at number 25.
