LSU Playing In The TaxAct Texas Bowl Tonight In Houston
The 2021 college football season is coming to an end. There are only two games left in the bowl season. One is the national championship game on Monday, January 10th between Georgia and Alabama for the national championship of college football.
The other bowl game is happening tonight as the LSU Tigers will face off against Kansas State in the TaxAct Texas Bowl in Houston, Texas at NRG Stadium.
The Tigers are 6-6 on the season and qualified for a bowl bid. LSU went through a bunch of issues this season. First, the University and Ed Orgeron parted ways as he left the program after the final game of the season.
Since then, Brian Kelly formerly the head coach at Notre Dame was hired to take over the football program in 2022.
The Tigers opponent tonight, Kansas State, finished the regular season at 7-5 and 4-5 in the Big 12.
Are you thinking about taking a last-minute trip to Houston to go see the Tigers play? Well, tickets are still available and are super cheap too.
We just looked up ticket prices and they range from $18 each in the top section of the stadium to the most expensive ones we found were $141 in the lower bowl. Don't let that lower bowl price scare you though because we also found tickets in the lower bowl for only $24-$40 bucks each!
LSU and Kansas State lock up starting at 8:00 pm tonight and the game will be televised on ESPN.
