LSU Football Finish Just Outside Of The Top 5 In Year In Polls

The college football season is over and we are all sad here in South Louisiana.  The LSU Tigers however finished strong this season.

The Tigers beat UCF 40-32 in the Fiesta bowl to finish the season at 10-3 overall. The score of the bowl game doesn't paint the accurate picture of how LSU really dominated that game.

For their efforts, the Tigers vaulted up in the final rankings.  LSU moved up five spots in the AP poll to finish at #6.

They also moved up four spots in the Coaches poll to finish at #7 on the year.

The next time you will see the Tigers football team in game action will be when the kick off the 2019 season on August 31st, 2019 when the face Georgia Southern in their home opener at Tigers stadium.
