LSU Fans Set to Storm Omaha for 2023 College World Series

For the first time since 2017, our LSU Tiger baseball team is headed to Omaha, NE for the 2023 76th Men's College World Series along with seven of the other finest programs in college baseball. This is their 19th trip to the promised land and it's the third team that LSU Coach Jay Johnson has taken to the tournament. What's even more impressive it that it's only Johnson's second year at the helm.

With all of that being said, LSU has had a crazy season so far, including all of the rain delays this past Saturday, June 10th for game one of the best of three series with the University of Kentucky at the Super Regional held in Baton Rouge. In fact, the game was delayed by NINE HOURS. With as rabid as LSU fans are and after watching this TikTok of the action in Alex Box Stadium Saturday night, the real question is whether or not Omaha is ready for Louisiana to come to town!

LSU travels well as a team so chances are, things are going to get rowdy when the tournament kicks off this weekend. LSU's first opponent will be Tennessee Saturday at 6 pm CST. As always, GEAUX TIGERS!
