Louisiana Residents Can Now Extend Their Unemployment Benefits

If you're still unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you can apply to have your unemployment extended.

The Louisiana Workforce Commission announced Louisiana residents can apply for Pandemic Extended Unemployment Compensation (PEUC), with benefits lasting until the end of the year.

You can apply 24 hours a day on the Louisiana Workforce Commission's website.
