
Louisiana State Police Seize 85+ Pounds Of Meth In Major Calcasieu Parish Bust
(KHLA- Lake Charles, Louisiana) - Three SWLA residents have been arrested in a major drug bust in Lake Charles.
On December 2, the Louisiana State Police (LSP) and the Calcasieu Parish Anti-Drug Task Force began investigating a known drug trafficker in SWLA.

KPLC is reporting that authorities were investigating Brent Touchet, 48, of Lake Charles when they observed him and two other people leave a hotel in Lake Charles together.
They pulled over Josh Reeves, 41, of Sulphur for traffic violations and conducted a probable cause search of his vehicle. Reeves and his passenger Jessica Robinson, 45, of Lake Charles were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

How Much Meth Was Seized In Lake Charles Bust?
LSP officers were aware of a vehicle that Touchet had left at a Lake Charles casino parking lot. After being granted warrants, they searched the vehicle.
During their investigation, they found over 85 lbs. of methamphetamine and a pistol in the trunk.
All three offenders were booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center.
All individuals mentioned are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
