The Louisiana Economic Development (LED) oversees the High Impact Jobs Program, which was established to offer performance-based subsidies to companies in the Bayou State that establish full-time, benefits-eligible positions with above average earnings. Companies must operate in eligible industries and meet pay standards based on parish or regional averages in order to be eligible.

Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Susan Bourgeois says that the program has received four applications to date.
