Next Round Of Louisiana Fortified Roof Grants Announced
(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - Louisiana Department of Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple has announced the new round of fortified roof grants in the Bayou State.
The decision comes after 10,000 homes in Louisiana were equipped with strengthened roofs. After installation, the roofs give residents improved structural integrity and greater resilience to wind and water.

KPLC is reporting that the next 1,000 grants for fortified roofs in the state will start taking applications today.
Additionally, Temple stated that benchmark reductions for fortified roofs in Louisiana are being developed by the Louisiana Department of Insurance.
