Lake Poll Results From Last Week — What You Said About The Bible and More

We love asking your opinion. What do Lake Charles, Westlake, Sulphur, Moss Bluff and other Southwest Louisiana communities think about today';s issues? This week our 92.9 The Lake listener polls ask about the Bible, voting and litter. 

The legislature looked at a bill aimed at making people discard cigarette butts properly. We ask you how you handled it when you saw people littering. It was very clear that you take it seriously.

In a recent Sulphur election the voter turnout was extremely low. This was not the only election where voter apathy has reared it's ugly head so we ask what it would take to get you to vote. The most elected answer was to give you election day off. That was followed by information at the polls. Here are the complete results.

A bill making the Bible the state book seems to have the fast track in the legislature. We ask if you thought the Bible should be our state book. This one was close and surprised us.
