Lake Charles to Host State High School Basketball Championships

Lake Charles will host 28 Louisiana High School Basketball teams for the LHSAA championship play offs at the Burton Coliseum March 3-14. Let's show our visitors some great Cajun hospitality.

The Allstate Sugar Bowl LHSAA Top 28 State Basketball Tournament tickets for "Marsh Madness" are only ten dollars at the door or $40 for a pass for the entire week. Recent renovations at the Burton Coliseum and support from the Lake Charles Police Jury plus the work of many community volunteers helped bring this event to Lake Charles. There will be 14 championships awarded over the two weeks of tournament play. Bring your family out and enjoy some great basketball. You never know when one of these student athletes could grow up to be a collegiate or professional basketball star!
