My Prediction For The 2023 McNeese Football Season:

The Pokes finished with a 4-7 record last season in year one of Gary Goff's tenure. Most Armchair Coaches would say that was a bad season, but we all knew the mountains that Coach Goff and his staff were going to have to climb to bring McNeese back to its past glory. The Pokes finished strong with a three-game winning streak.

When you dive closer into the 2022 season you will notice that the Pokes could've easily finished the year with a 6-5 winning record. The Cowboys lost to Nichols and Southeastern by five points or less.

Call me a "homer", but I see seven wins for the Cowboys in their 2023 season. I don't think we get our first win until week 3 when we travel to Mississippi to avenge last year's loss to Alcorn.
