Lake Charles, Louisiana: McNeese Early Signing Day Class
The Pokes are coming off of Gary Goff's first season as head coach in Lake Charles. The Cowboys finished the 2022 season with a 4-7 overall record ending the year with a three-game win streak.
Coach Goff has stated several times that he wants to build the Pokes primarily with JUCO players that are ready for the next level and high school recruits that he can develop. We can see that plan in motion today at the beginning of early National Signing Day.

Day one of this early signing class includes an offensive lineman transfer from Valdosta State who knows the offense and the culture, a JUCO Player of the Year at QB, the brother of a former Poke player, a game-changer at WR from SWLA, and many more. Coach Goff said he wanted size and speed, and he's definitely bringing in those players that fit the bill.
