(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - Following a report from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, detectives from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Special Victim Unit, who are part of the Louisiana Attorney General's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, launched an investigation.

Detectives followed up on the inquiry; Zachary P. Gautreau, 27, of Lake Charles, was found in possession of a film depicting bestiality and materials of child sexual assault. Gautreau was found and taken into custody on July 18.

After being booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center, he was charged with nine counts of juvenile pornography and animal sexual abuse. His bond is still pending.

When someone gets arrested, it means there is probable cause to suspect they were involved in the accused offense. Until someone is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, they are presumed innocent.
