Christmas Eve and Christmas are this Friday and Saturday and with that, you would think that your trash pickup for your trash day and times would be interrupted due to the holidays.

That will not be the case however according to Katie Harrington with the city of Lake Charles. She has advised us that there will be no changes in Garbage and Trash schedules for the next two weeks during the Christmas and New Year's holidays.  She said that your garbage and trash will be picked up on their regularly scheduled days.

Remember that your trash containers and other items that you want to be picked up need to be placed out by the road before 7:00 am on the day your trash is scheduled to be picked up.
