This really works out well for you if you are having crawfish as part of your Good Friday celebration. Your trash could be picked up on Saturday instead of Good Friday. No one wants crawfish shells sitting in their trash can very long.

The City of Lake Charles has released the Good Friday schedule. Here it is.

Trash and garbage normally picked up on Friday will be rescheduled for pickup on Saturday, April 19.

The Team Green recycling truck will not be available on Good Friday Holiday, Friday, April 18, but will resume collection on Saturday, April 19.

All recycling stations, including the Incinerator, will not be open on Good Friday, April 18. They will resume regular operations on Monday, April 21. 

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday routes will remain on their regular schedules. 

All other services of the Department of Public Works and other City departments will be closed on Friday, April 18, in observance of this Holiday but will resume regular working hours on Monday, April 21.
