Jeong was born in Detroit and grew up in North Carolina. He completed his residency for Internal Medicine at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. After a successful medical practice, he decided to follow his true passion: comedy. Since then, he's played roles in many movies and TV sitcoms like Community and the blockbuster hit, The Hangover.
