When it comes to predicting the weather, at least once a year, the most famous forecaster is Punxsutawney Phil. I mean really, how many other "weathermen" have had a movie made about them?

But, over the years, how accurate has American's most famous rodent been right?

Believe it or not, there are people who keep up with just such statistics as groundhog prognostication. Here is Phil's scorecard.

Translation: Phil is a great boon to tourism. On the other had, he is a lousy predictor of the weather.
