John Walton of “Walton & Johnson” Has Died

Steve Johnson has announced that his co-host, John Walton, passed away suddenly at 11:55pm on July 1st, 2019.

John was suffering from "numerous medical issues" and had been receiving treatment over the past month, according to a post from Johnson.

"He made the decision to return home yesterday and spend his last hours with his family. He went out on his own terms."

Johnson added that the popular morning show will return "as soon as possible."
