John Emery, Nation’s Top Running Back, Commits To LSU

The LSU Tigers will be adding the top running back in the state, as well as the entire nation, to their 2019 recruiting class after all.

The 5-foot-11, 202-pound Emery is ranked by ESPN as not only the top running back in the country, but also the #2 prospect in the state of Louisiana, and the #14 prospect in the 2019 signing class.

Emery, who becomes LSU's second running back commitment, joining Southern Lab’s All-American Tyrion Davis, rushed for 1,191 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns in the regular season for Destrehan.
