Joe Burrow Could Win His Second Championship In Three Years
We all remember that historic 2019 LSU football season where the Tigers went undefeated and won the college football National Championship.
They did it behind the leadership of Joe Burrow, all the great players on that team, and outstanding coaching staff. Burrow lead the Bayou Bengals to a perfect season going 15-0 and winning not only the SEC Championship, the National Championship but also capturing the Heisman Trophy too.
He was drafted #1 overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round. After playing well in his first season, he suffered a major injury which ended his season but he vowed to be back better than ever.
Now the former Bayou Bengal is poised to win his second championship for his new team now the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are 13-7 on the season and just beat the Kansas City Cheifs 27-24 in the AFC Championship game last night to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.
Can Joey B do it again? In just his second year in the NFL, he has led the Bengals who just two years ago were the worst team in the NFL to Super Bowl glory.
The Bengals will face off with the LA Rams who beat the San Francisco 49ers last night 20-17 in the NFC Championship game to move on to the Super Bowl.
After the game, Joe Burrow answered questions and gave his thoughts about heading to the big game.
Geaux Joe Beaureaux! All of us here in Louisiana are pulling for you and the Bengals.
