Jimmy Fallon — Wheel of Musical Impressions

I've always been an easy audience for people who do impressions. I grew up doing impressions of people of the day. The only one I still do is Casey Kasem and I think my Casey impression is pretty spot on. It should be since I've heard that man's voice a million times since my first radio job consisted of nothing more than making sure that American Top 40 played correctly every week on KLOU.

I really didn't expect much when I saw the title of this video, but I totally underestimated the talent of Jimmy Fallon. I also have to confess that I've never heard of Ariana Grande. I know, that makes me totally out of it as far as current music is concerned, but I can't say I'm much of a fan of anyone who is currently on the charts.

In this video, the challenge is to sing a song in the style of whatever artist comes up on the wheel. Ariana Grande totally nails Britney Spears singing 'Mary Had a Little Lamb.' I thought Fallon was in deep trouble when he was tasked with singing "Cheerleader" like Aaron Neville, but to my surprise, he did an amazing job. Watch and see if you agree.
