Jimbo’s Quick Stop Closes Doors Today

As we reported earlier this month, the iconic local store, Jimbo's Quick Stop, announced they're closing their doors.

Well, today is that day. The locally-owned family business has been open in Southwest Louisiana for the past 40 years but today they shut their doors forever.

Folks all over the area relied on Jimbo's for their gas, hot breakfasts, fishing tackle, monster hamburgers, and a friendly face and smile each day.

Now The Spot bar and grill located directly behind Jimbo's will remain open with live music, karaoke, and sports games on their TVs.

Sad day today as we say goodbye to an iconic landmark and business in Southwest Louisiana. Thank you, Kim, for sharing your terrific staff and service with all of us. Y'all will be missed.
