Earlier this week we reported that someone stole a UPS truck in Shreveport, and now police say guns fell from the truck during the chase.

Shreveport Police say that six guns fell out from the cargo truck while the driver attempted to elude police, and authorities want the guns back.

The guns that fell out of the truck were picked up by citizens, and now the SPD is asking anyone who may have picked the guns up to bring them back.  Authorities are asking anyone who may have the guns that fell out of the truck to return them to a nearby police station and no questions will be asked.

The guns have been reported stolen and have been entered into a national database, which means police anywhere will be able to trace the guns that were picked up off the road in Shreveport this week. If you are caught having one of these guns in your possession, you will be arrested.

However, police in Shreveport say that no one will be in trouble if they return the guns to a police station. According to their social media post, if you return the guns safely, you may even get a Thank You from authorities.

Skyler Jarvis was arrested once the chase came to an end, and police say that they found drugs and firearms in the stolen UPS truck.
