Brody’s aunt and guardian, Amanda Pearson, explained that he became upset after having his PlayStation taken away and left the home. A family member told Louisiana State Police and Livingston Parish Sheriff's deputies that this was not the first time he had run away from home.

Typically, he returns; however, this time, he's been gone much longer than normal, raising concerns for the family and prompting an intensive search involving both local law enforcement and federal agencies, including the FBI and U.S. Marshals.

4'8" tall, weighing around 100 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes, Brody was last seen wearing red shorts but no shirt or shoes.

Family members have shared that he may require specialized care due to certain developmental needs, which adds urgency to the search efforts.

Sheriff Jason Ard emphasized that search crews are actively working with Brody’s family and neighbors to locate him safely. "Our team has been out all night and is continuing today,” Ard noted.

Search efforts include ground crews and drone assistance and have plans to provide additional air support. Community members are asked to stay vigilant and report any information that might help bring Brody home safely.

Anyone who sees Brody or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office at 225-686-2241 (extension 1), use the ‘Submit A Tip’ feature on the LPSO app, or dial 911.
