17-Year-Old Louisiana High School Student Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
A teenage girl at a Louisiana high school was arrested on Wednesday on charges of child pornography.
Addison Faith LeBlanc, 17, of Opelousas, has been charged with pornography involving juveniles in connection with an incident that happened at Beau Chene High School in St. Landry Parish.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said deputies learned that students at the school were in possession of videos that contained child sexual abuse material.

“The investigation revealed that these videos were sent via Snapchat in a group message,” Guidroz said.
“Upon learning of this, school administrators seized the four cellular devices from the students that were in possession of the pornographic material. The cellular devices were subsequently turned over to the School Resource Officers and submitted as evidence to the Sheriff’s Office Evidence Custodian.”
Investigators questioned LeBlanc, who was believed to have distributed the videos. After the interrogation, deputies arrested LeBlanc.
No bond has been as of this time.
The investigation remains open with other persons of interest and possible involvement, according to Guidroz.
