Sam’s Club ‘Louisiana’ T-Shirt is So Terribly Wrong That it’s Actually Hilarious
Have you ever experienced the beautiful mountains of Louisiana?
If you raised your eyebrows at that question just wait until you see one of the hottest t-shirts currently available at Sam's Club. This t-shirt isn't some type of designer brand nor is there anything special about the color or the cut of the garment.
Sam's Club has a 'Louisiana' t-shirt where our lovely boot state is spelled out over a mountainous background making anyone from here wonder "What part of Louisiana is this supposed to be?"
My friend snapped a photo of the tee during his weekly Sam's run and informed me that he was totally picking one up. In addition to the mountain/pine tree background tee, there were also a couple of others including a pretty terrible Patagonia rip-off.
Soon, I saw others posting about the t-shirts and my friend wasn't the only one who wanted to buy the tee based solely on how ridiculous it was as many began to comment that they would be picking up one on their next Sam's run.
It even got picked up by The Advocate.
Is this the best marketing blunder ever? I don't know about you but I love a good happy accident and now I will be on the lookout for these in the wild.
Also, for what it's worth someone dropped some knowledge bout Mount Driskill; not quite a mountain but the closest thing to it as it boasts the highest elevation in Louisiana at 535 ft.
If I see anyone with this shirt, I will automatically know they are cool and have a sense of humor just like me.
Have you seen the 'Louisiana' mountain t-shirt yet? Will you be picking up one on your next Sam's run?
